Japan has gone gaga for Nintendo's Splatoon, a squid-centric game where players compete with one another to cover a battlefield in paint. The characters from the game have become mega-popular in their own right, and now you can enjoy them as part of your regular cards too with the Splatoon Playing Cards.
Available in two designs, the specially designed Splatoon card decks feature illustrations of the game's Squid Kids and other undersea-themed characters. Each deck boasts its own unique visual motif, and will make your next card game all the more fun if you love Splatoon.
Set 1 features splats of colorful paint on the backs of the cards and faces that have black backgrounds and simpler images. Set 2 features squids on the backs and variously colored backgrounds and more complex character renderings on the faces.
