Well, actually there is and the designers of Tokyo-based company A-Stage prove it with the Re De Bin Smart Trash Can, a dustbin that utilizes some 21st-century automations with some clever design ideas to offer you a more effective and, at the same time, stylish way of keeping your space clean.

First of all, the dimensions: the Re De Bin Smart Trash Can can be used as it comes out of the box but is also equipped with two pairs of legs (short and long) so you can adjust it to your needs. And then the high-tech part: its lid opens and closes by button or automatically thanks to the proximity sensor that you can adjust to your desired distance (15, 25, 35 cm / 5.9, 9.8, 13.8"). The trash can also comes with a mechanism that, at the press of a button, disposes ozone to disinfect and deodorize your garbage even if organic!
