Otona no Kagaku Kaleidoscope Projector Kit

Self-assembly psychedelic image generator

The 1960s are long gone but their aesthetics and style are still with us and probably will remain so for many more years to come. A big part of that are kaleidoscope images and the Otona no Kagaku Kaleidoscope Projector Kit is the best way to create an endless variety of amazing such images and project them onto a surface. What's more, you can make the projector itself on your own with this exciting project from the bestselling Gakken series of "adult science" kits.

To build the Otona no Kagaku Kaleidoscope Projector Kit, which is a reissue of a classic entry in the series originally released back in 2006, you just need a Philips screwdriver, some glue, and glycerin. The instructions are in the fully illustrated Japanese book that comes with the kit. After you build it, you can power it up with two AA alkaline batteries (not included) and fill the empty tubes that come with it with any small items you like. The kaleidoscope uses them to create spectacular images that you can either enjoy yourself looking through the scope, or with your family and friends by projecting them onto any surface, big and small.
