This love starts from a very early age, with toddlers taking baths with their parents and learning how to enjoy the hot water. The Onsen Kodama Wooden Bath Toys are essentially a set for playing whack-a-mole. The six stick-shaped targets are placed in the water with their round heads floating on the surface. Kids can hit them with the mallets that are included. When hit, they sink for a while and then pop up again. The set also contains three cords with a wooden ball attached, which can be used as throwing rings to double the play scenarios. All pieces are made of natural wood from Japan's Ibaraki Prefecture and don't have any sharp angles, making them safe for any child aged two or older.
