Onigiri Rice Triangle Rings

Japanese food-themed novelty ring set

It isn't sushi or tempura or noodles. It isn't even curry. The real soul food in Japan is onigiri, the rice balls (and triangles) that are sold everywhere and have even become a gourmet dish! In the hearts of most Japanese, though, they are still the thing their mom made as a quick snack from the day's leftover rice and, as such, are a food that holds dear and precious memories. The Onigiri Rice Triangle Rings show that "precious" isn't just a figure of speech by turning onigiri into jewelry!

The Onigiri Rice Triangle Rings feature two types of onigiri-shaped cases, one white as if it was made be with regular rice and one brown as if made with rice cooked with asari clams. Inside the cases are five rings, each shaped like one of the most common onigiri fillings: a pinch of salt, dried bonito flakes, sea urchin, an egg yolk in soy sauce, and asari clams. Choose the ring that best matches your mood (and flavor) of the day and carry it around in its onigiri case!
