All cats are magical but black felines are particularly associated with witchcraft. This is the reason Hayao Miyazaki made Jiji, the friend and familiar of the teenage witch Kiki in his 1989 masterpiece Kiki's Delivery Service, black too. Being Japanese, though, he couldn't avoid giving Jiji a touch of cuteness and this very characteristic combination of adorability and mischief is oozing from the character's image on the Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Skateboard Deck, a must-have for any skater who also has a thing for Japanese culture.

The Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Skateboard Deck is a standard eight-inch deck made of Canadian maple wood, one of the best materials for skateboards, used for decades thanks to its durability and hardness. It weighs 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) and it fits all eight-inch parts, but what really sets it apart is, of course, the artwork of Jiji, black on a bright yellow background with the name "JIJI" written in white and standing on an also bright, red block, which features the letters GBL. As every fan knows, this is the brand Studio Ghibli uses for its official merchandise!
