It's funny how things come in circles: 30 years ago, everyone would had killed for always having a light, easy-to-use powerful camera and now that they do, compliments of their smartphone, many have started looking back fondly to those days when a camera was an extra device that would take pictures printed on paper. It is for these people and their love for things of the past that Fujifilm has created the Instax Mini 99, a camera that combines today's technology with yesterday's looks and printing function!

Yes, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 99 takes pictures that are immediately printed on paper. It does that because it uses a special film, the Fujifilm Instant Film Instax Mini, which is the evolution of the 1970s Polaroid instant printing paper. But the rest of its features is very 21st century, from the compact size (103.5 x 117.5 x 60 mm / 4 x 4.6 x 2.4") to the amazing specs like a retractable, two components/elements, f = 60 mm, 1:12.7 lens, speed ranging from 1.8 to 1/400 of a second, five-level brightness control, and built-in color control effects. And as optional extras, you can also get a vintage case in black or tan and a 20-picture pack of film!
