This is a world-first. With video projection produced by Ryotaro Muramatsu (Naked Inc.), the Bandai Hako Vision will transform a simple cardboard box into a magical illumination show. Based on Tokyo landmarks, you first construct the "theatre" using the model. There are two "performances" to choose from: Tokyo Hikari Vision (at Tokyo Station) and Karakuri (at the Tokyo National Museum).

After reading the 2D code on the side of the box, just place your smartphone device upside down on the top and you can then have a projection event right in the palm of your hand. It is inspired by the Shokugan kind of toy that comes with a piece of candy as an extra (yes, there is a candy included here as well).

Bandai Hako Vision

With video taken from actual projection mapping events that have been a massive hit in Tokyo in recent years, this set includes both versions, which each have their own personality. Tokyo Hikari Vision is more of a fairytale spectacle, while Karakuri is a lively adventure using historical scenes.

Bandai Hako Vision

The Bandai Hako Vision features:

  • Includes BOTH versions: Karakuri AND Tokyo Hikari Vision
  • Includes "figure" (architecture facade model), clear plate
  • Read the QR code to play the video
  • Should work with most Android and iPhone devices, but an iPad will be too large
  • Instructions: Japanese
