Together with vending machines and high-tech toilets, gashapon (aka capsule toy dispensers) have become one of the trademarks of modern Japan - to the extent that you can even see rows of them at Narita Airport, Tokyo's gateway to the world! If you are a true lover of Japanese pop culture, you can't afford not having one of them in your living room and, thanks to Bandai, Japan's biggest toy-maker, the Gashapon Capsule Toy Machine is finally here to transform your home, school, or workplace!
Made exactly like the real thing (with coin slots and all), the Gashapon Capsule Toy Machine comes with six (empty) capsules and interchangeable display cards so you can even make your own. You just add toys to the capsules, put them in, and allow your children or friends to enjoy a taste of an actual gashapon experience, complete with the sound of the crank that gives the device its name ("gasha" when you turn it and "pon" when the capsule drops). But be careful -it’s addictive!
