Spirited Away Matryoshka Doll

It's a brilliant idea: you take the Matryoshka dolls, the Russian folk art nesting dolls where each one includes a smaller one and then a smaller one and then a smaller one, and blend it with one of the classics of anime, Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. And the result is the, not very imaginatively named, Spirited Away Matryoshka Doll. Like any Matryoshka, it hides inside another and another and another: all in all, you get five dolls, all characters from Studio Ghibli's masterpiece.

The biggest Spirited Away Matryoshka Doll is Oshira-sama, aka the Radish Spirit, complete with red hat and red furoshiki loincloth. He contains Otori-sama, one of the giant chicken/ducks that are clients at Yubaba's bathhouse, who contains No-Face (he had to be somewhere in there!), who contains Yubaba's son, Boh, as a mouse with his mother's harpy as a bird on his head. And finally, Boh contains a couple of Susuwatari, the soot sprites that have become one of Miyazaki's trademarks!
