Sardine Tornado Aquarium Umbrella

Underwater theme rain protection

Vinyl umbrellas, the transparent ones made of polyethylene that allow people to move fast even in big crowds, have become one of the characteristic sights of Japanese cities. The problem is that since they are cheap and available everywhere, they usually lack character, something that is certainly not the case with the Sardine Tornado Aquarium Umbrella, because it features one of the most spectacular displays nature has produced!

Why "nature"? Because the image of the countless sardines on this umbrella's 100 cm (3.3 ft) canopy comes from one of the exhibits at the Port of Nagoya's Public Aquarium, where sardines swim together in a tornado-like swirl. Every time you twirl this 90 cm (3 ft) umbrella, you'll think you are inside the aquarium's tank, right in the middle of the swimming fish. To make things even more real, there's even a 3D fish decorating the umbrella's tying band!
