It's been about ten years since Yokohama started hosting a large annual Pokemon celebration that includes multiple events and usually concludes with a parade of human-sized Pikachu in the city streets. The Parade Pikachu Robot has been inspired by this unique performance and allows your children (or you, if you are the big Pokemon fan in the family!) to have their own walking Pikachu at home. If you get more than one, you can start your whole mini Pikachu parade in your living room!
Powered by two AA batteries, the Parade Pikachu Robot waits for you to clap or speak, and then responds in different ways: it walks just like the Pikachu in the Yokohama parade; it waves its hands; its cheeks blush; and it even speaks using Pikachu's voice from the games and anime. The built-in sensor detects your presence so sometimes it acts before you, prompting you talk to it. And if nothing happens for 10 minutes, it puts itself into sleep mode.
