Twin lens reflex cameras used to be all the rage in the 1960s with their weird, oblong shape and the big top viewfinder that allowed photographers to frame their pictures with both eyes while still seeing their subjects - not unlike the screen in digital cameras and smartphones! Those cameras went away with SLRs and then DSLRs, but with the Otona no Kagaku Twin-Lens Reflex Camera Kit, you have the chance to bring them back to life and use them to take pictures in a different way, using film and actual paper!
The Otona no Kagaku Twin-Lens Reflex Camera Kit is a reissue of one of the most enduring sets in the "Science for Grownups" DIY kit series by Gakken. The magazine/book that comes with the kit contains all the assembling information you need (in Japanese but with lots of pictures). You only need to prepare a Philips screwdriver and a roll of 35 mm film.
