Mount Fuji Eraser (Set of 3) Hokusai Edition

Japanese landmark stationery

There are few works of Japanese art more famous than the landscapes featuring Mount Fuji by Tokyo painter Katsushika Hokusai, created back in the early 1830s when Tokyo was called Edo. One of them, showing Japan's iconic mountain in the background with two fishing boats struggling against an enormous wave, has become for Japanese art what the Mona Lisa is for Italian. The Mount Fuji Eraser (Set of 3) Hokusai Edition honors the master artist's work and the great mountain itself in a really original way.

Each of the three erasers in the Mount Fuji Eraser (Set of 3) Hokusai Edition are themed after one of Hokusai's 36 Mount Fuji landscapes: there is a blue one for Fuji as it appears in the Great Wave Off Kanagawa, a yellow like the one in Reflection in Lake at Misaka in Kai Province, and a red for the mountain in South Wind, Clear Sky, which is mostly known as Red Fuji. And while each eraser looks like it has a solid color, as you use them, their color starts to recede and the white core appears, making them look just like the real Fuji!
