Kiki's Delivery Service Red Bow Hairband

When you think Hayao Miyazaki and his films, the first thing that comes to mind isn't fashion: the works of the great Japanese anime maestro are about people and their stories, not their clothing and accessories. However, there are some items immediately identifiable with some of his heroes: Mei's straw hat with the pink ribbon from My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso's leather flying helmet, or the red hairband the eponymous witch wears in Kiki's Delivery Service. The Kiki's Delivery Service Red Bow Hairband comes from Studio Ghibli's special Donguri Closet series that features clothes and accessories inspired by the films. It is 180 x 90 x 30 mm (7 x 3.5 x 1.2") and is, of course, red with the characteristic bow. On the bow's right side, the hairband has an embroidered portrait of Jiji, Kiki's cat and close friend, and on the back of the bow a label with Kiki's face and Kokiri's 'Don't forget to always smile" line from the anime. The hairband comes with a beautiful cotton bag boasting an original Kiki and Jiji illustration!
