Unlike standard mosquito coils, the Earth Extra Thick Fly Coils are three times thicker and produce three times the smoke, which makes them very effective against flying pests like gadflies, midge, and gnats. The active ingredient is metofluthrin, a pyrethroid that is among the most commonly used in the insect coil industry, but because not everybody likes its natural smell, sandalwood has been added to the mix for a much more pleasant fragrance.
