Inspired by the Asahi TV show Yoi kono Mujinto 0 Yen Seikatsu, where two guys try to live on an uninhabited island without any money or resources, the Chineriita is a fun way to experience the basics of cooking.
With the Chineriita (available in blue or yellow) you can churn out rice from wheat, a great tool for learning what goes into "making" cereals.
We think kids will get a lot out of this kind of product, not least because it is so simple that all ages can have a go. Just put in your wheat block and turn the handle to create your rice! In two minutes you will have a tray of edible pieces!
