The Anpanman May Doll Gogatsu Ningyo is a brilliant update on the traditional gogatsu ningyo (May doll). This is a Japanese custom where dolls are displayed to celebrate Children's Day (originally Boy's Day) in early May. Here the cute and immensely popular Anpanman character is sitting on a koi in the style of Kintaro, the famous folk hero who battled a giant carp and an iconic symbol of Children's Day on May 5th. Anpanman-Kintaro has a sword and helmet, and the set also includes a stand and folding screen backdrop.
The Anpanman May Doll Gogatsu Ningyo features:
- Anpanman version of Children's Day gogatsu ningyo (May doll) in classic Kintaro style
- Dimensions: 17.5 x 13.5 x 13cm (6.9 x 5.3 x 5.1")
- Includes Anpanman figure, folding screen, stand, wooden plaque
- Materials: polystone
