Samurai Armor Chopstick Rests

Japanese warrior tableware set

If geisha are (still) the stereotypical Japanese women, samurai are (still) the stereotypical men: mostly thanks to the entertainment industry, Japan's medieval warriors have become one of its most enduring ambassadors the world over and their weapons and armor are symbols of the country itself. You think this is an exaggeration? Just take a look at the five pieces that make up the Samurai Armor Chopstick Rests and see if you don't agree that it's one of the most characteristically Japanese collections ever!

The Samurai Armor Chopstick Rests set contains five pieces: a samurai kabuto (helmet), a katana (sword) with its stand, a kura (saddle), a taiko (drum), and a gunbai (war fan). All are made of 100% pure tin in Toyama Prefecture's Takaoka, famed for its metal craftsmanship for centuries. All pieces are very finely detailed, from the strings on the katana hilt to the sun and moon patterns on the gunbai, and they fit any type of chopsticks. Give your next Japanese meal an adventurous dimension with this exquisite chopsticks set!
