Who can say no to a teddy bear? Since they were first created in the early 1900s, they have become a classic toy in almost all cultures, even those where real bears aren't exactly common. Japan isn't one such culture: bears are found in various parts of the Japanese islands and that has given birth to folk tales featuring them as well as to cute bear characters. San-X's Rilakkuma is just such a character that has been around for over 20 years and which can now become part of your morning routine with the Rilakkuma Double Wall Glass!
Made of borosilicate glass, a special type of glass known for its extraordinary tolerance to both cold and hot (think -20°C to 120°C, i.e., -4°F to 248°F), the 150 ml (5 fl oz) Rilakkuma Double Wall Glass has two walls. When you pour liquid into it, the Rilakkuma-shaped inner wall fills, making the cute bear appear! Coffee or chocolate work best for Rilakkuma but if you pour in milk, Rilakkuma's white furry friend Korilakkuma appears instead. And you can get them in two versions, with their eyes either open or closed.
