Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Worm-Flute Necklace

It takes a real Ghibli Studio and Hayao Miyazaki fan to understand what's hanging around your neck when they see the Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Worm-Flute Necklace: most people will see just a cylinder with some holes on one end but the initiated will see an important object from the anime maestro's 1984 fantasy adventure Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: the tool/instrument the hero whirls to calm the enormous Ohmu insects in the Sea of Corruption.

Unlike the Worm-Flute (or Mushi-Bue in Japanese) in the film, the Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Worm-Flute Necklace won't make a sound if you whirl it. Like the real thing, though, it comes with a 40 cm (15.7") chain that closes with a spring ring clasp so you can secure it around your neck. The flute part is approximately 1.2 x 0.5 cm (0.5 x 0.2") and both it and the chain are made of silver 925, and come in a special box with the film's logo printed in Japanese and in silver, making it an amazing gift for true Miyazaki fans!
