You can use it to ferment stuff like bread dough and make all kind of steamed or boiled dishes. Its ceramic-coated aluminum pot lasts for loads of food up to one liter at a time (about 2.5 measures of rice) and at 22.5 x 20.4 x 21 cm (8.8 x 8 x 8.2"), it won't even be a problem in a small urban apartment!
