The story goes that momiji manju (steamed yeast buns filled with sweet red bean paste and shaped like maple autumn leaves) were first created in 1907 after a request by Japan's first prime minister, Hirobumi Ito. The story may or may not be true but momiji manju was certainly invented by a sweet-maker called Takatsudo in Hiroshima's Miyajima. And it's with that shop that Nestle has collaborated to bring you the Kit Kat Mini Takatsudo Original Momiji Manju.

Whether you are an avid collector of Nestle's "Japan only" flavors or just looking for a unique souvenir from Hiroshima, the Kit Kat Mini Takatsudo Original Momiji Manju won't let you down. Six boxes of 10 individually wrapped Kit Kat Minis filled with a wonderful mix of flavors - chocolate, biscuit, yeasty manju, and koshian red bean paste - all explode in your mouth, offering a delight you have never experienced before!
