The 1980s were the period that really made Square Enix a giant of the video game and entertainment world: it was then that the company, at the time called Square, created Final Fantasy, based on the success of Enix's Dragon Quest. Twenty years later, the two companies would merge and create the conglomerate it is today. The company doesn't forget the role Final Fantasy played in helping it become what it is today and is celebrating the game's 35th anniversary with some amazing products, like the Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Mug!
Square Enix had one of its most popular illustrators, Yoshitaka Amano, design a special logo. It features the Warrior of Light as he appeared in the original release of Final Fantasy. That motif is complemented by the logo of the series and a special commemorative inscription. The illustration is set against a white background, plus the inside of the mug has a gold-plated finish to make it even more spectacular. And being approximately 80 x 90 mm (3.1 x 3.5"), it hold about 220 ml (7.4 fl oz) of your favorite beverage!
