What makes the Audio-Technica Sound Burger AT-SB727 highly portable also gives it a shape like something from a sci-fi movie: it looks like a big hair straightener, which encloses a tone arm, cartridge, and a ATN3600L 0.6 mm diamond stylus (if you need a spare, one is also available as an option). When you want to play a 33-1/3 RPM LP, or a 45 RPM single (it comes with a 45 adapter), you open it, put the record in, put the arm on the groove, and you're good to go. The power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and one 12-hour charge is enough for 12 hours of music!
