Cats often find their way into Hayao Miyazaki's films and the 1995 musical and romantic drama Whisper of the Heart is no exception: there are two cats that play an important role in the film and one of them, the stray called Moon or Muta that travels on the train the main character Shizuku Tsukishima uses, is also the main feature of the Whisper of the Heart Chenille Embroidery Pouch.
