Test your memory of Japanese characters with this challenging Nabe Bakari Kanji Concentration Card Game from game makers Arclight. This "only Nabe" game, which can be played with up to eight players, is based off of a well-known Japanese drama program that ran for years on the television station TBS. The aim of the game is to match unusual "nabe" kanji to write the name "Watanabe" (as in Ken Watanabe).
To play, spread the tiles out with the appropriate side faced up, and then take turns flipping over two tiles. If you match two "nabe" kanji, take the pair. If you don't, make a mental note and hope nobody else beats you to it. When all the tiles have been collected, the game ends and the player with most matches wins.
The Nabe Bakari Kanji Concentration Game features:
- Includes 48 tiles in total, 24 matching pairs
- Suitable for up to 8 players
- Average game time last between 10 and 30 minutes
