Moomin Nightlight

Popular Finnish character portable tabletop light

With his hippopotamus-like face and expressive eyes, Moomin (or Moomintroll), the main character in the novels and comic strip of the same name that were created back in 1945 by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson, was bound to become a favorite in Japan. As a matter of fact, the Moomins have become as popular as Charles M Schulz's Peanuts or even Japan's own Hello Kitty. But among the thousands of Moomin-related products in the Japanese market, the Moomin Nightlight stands out!

The Moomin Nightlight is shaped like a sitting Moomintroll with one of his typical and adorable expressions on his face. It is approximately 14.6 x 8.6 x 8.2 cm (5.7 x 3.4 x 3.2"), so won't take up a lot of space, and weighs just about 80 g (2.8 oz), meaning he is also very easy to carry around.
