Moomin Hattifattener Nightlight

Popular Finnish character portable tabletop light

No one who knows anything about Japan and the Japanese almost automatic love for anything cute will be surprised to hear that the Moomins, the characters in the novels and comic strip by Finnish writer/illustrator Tove Jansson, have also conquered the Land of the Rising Sun! And not just the Moomins themselves: the mysterious ghost-like Hattifatteners, who always travel toward the horizon, are also popular – enough to have inspired the Moomin Hattifattener Nightlight!

The Moomin Hattifattener Nightlight is small enough to be used pretty much anywhere: at around 19.3 x 8.3 x 6.8 cm (7.6 x 3.3 x 2.7") and battery-operated (it takes three AAA batteries), you can even carry it in your backpack to have an instant source of light wherever you are. It is made of silicone, so is soft to the touch, has a standard lighting mode and another flickering one, creating a candle-like ambiance, and it even has a one-hour auto-off timer so it won't stay on all night after you have fallen asleep!
