Neck-cooling devices look more and more like something from a 1970s or '80s science fiction movie. Take a look at the Mono Lourdes Wearable Cooling and Warming Neck Fan and you will certainly agree. But while it may first appeal to the sci-fi fan in you, this device offers something that most personal temperature-control devices don't: instead of just cooling you down, it can also warm you up, meaning you have a device that's useful all year-round! And at 180 x 235 x 60 mm (7 x 9.2 x 2.4"), it won't take up too much space in your bag either!
Like other personal air-conditioning devices, the Mono Lourdes Wearable Cooling and Warming Neck Fan combines a fan and Peltier plate so you can adjust it to your needs and the environmental conditions. The difference is that it goes as low as 20°C (68°F) and as high as 40°C (104°F). It is USB-rechargeable and on a five-hour charge will work from anywhere between 1.5 and 6 hours, depending on the mode (see below). The neck fan is available in black and white, allowing you to accessorize easily, and only weighs 450 g (1 lb) so won't feel heavy around your neck.
