Why should knocking on the door be a noisy affair? With the Kitsutsuki Door Knocker you can add a much more subtle feature to your home. This "woodpecker" makes a sound with its "beak" if you press down on the tail. Designed by Takuya Osawa for +d, the knocker comes in a range of pop colors. The sound it makes won't be loud enough to hear visitors calling outside but the designer suggests you put it around the house, such as outside a kid's room so they can learn about knocking before entering.
