Perhaps only in Japan would you get a "character" that is a slice of salmon. But this is Japan, where people really love both characters and food, especially fish. Sanrio, creators of Hello Kitty and many other much-loved characters, came up with Kirimi-chan in 2013 as a potential new addition to their catalog. She was presented to the public as one of 20 other candidates and won the vote. Clearly these was demand! So far the cute fish (with arms and legs) has spawned all sorts of merchandise but so far no one had made a Kirimi-chan cosplay costume. Until now.
Sanrio has now had the genius to offer this must-have head piece for Kirimi-chan fans. Yes, you can actually wear Kirimi-chan with the Kabutte Kirimi-chan Costume. Just blow it up with air and put it on your head. It could also function as a very original cushion or pillow.
