Do you know what a phase-change material is? Think water: from liquid, it becomes solid and in the process cools. The 24 cells of the Icy Fit Cooling Ruck Pad contain a similar phase-change material but, unlike water, don't need to be refrigerated to create a cooling effect: as long as you put the material in a room with a temperature of 28°C (82.4°F) or lower, it solidifies and then you can use it as a cooling pad for your back, head when you are sleeping, arms when working on your computer, and more!

As its name suggests, the Icy Fit Cooling Ruck Pad is mainly designed as a buffer between your back and your backpack. This is why it comes with four 13 cm (5.1") long cords that allow you to attach it to your backpack straps. And also why it has a trapezoid shape that, together with its 20 x 23 x 28 cm (7.9 x 9 x 11") size, ensures it fits pretty much any backpack out there. The best part is that when not in use, it folds down to a mere 14 x 11 cm (5.5 x 4.3")! And yes, if you put it in the refrigerator, it freezes even faster!
