You probably open your refrigerator several times a day, even more so during the summer. And you probably never think twice about it: you open it, take out or put in whatever you want, and that's it. But why should this everyday action be boring? How about livening things up and adding a bit of interaction to this routine? The Japanese seem to think that would be a good idea and this is why they came up with the Fridgeezoo Neo!
The Fridgeezoo Neo is a series of three small (48 x 42 x 78 mm / 1.9 x 1.7 x 3") animals: a cat, polar bear, and penguin. They're shaped like milk cartons to fit anywhere in your refrigerator, including the door. The animals are equipped with a light sensor so when you put in batteries and turn them on, every time you open the refrigerator door they respond with one of 44 different Japanese words and expressions like "hello," "welcome," and "close the door." Have fun and brush up your Japanese too!
