Hanten is a type of traditional Japanese garment, typically worn in winter by both men and women to pad you against the cold. Toraichi's modern take on this harks back to ancient Tokyo heroes, the Tobishoku firemen of Edo, who wore their Sashiko Hanten, a specially sewn variety of the coat, as a mark of masculinity and pride. Toraichi's motto proclaims "fighting spirit for working" and we think this 100% cotton, size-free Hanten will give you a unique textile look that declares you ready for all of life's adventures.
