A solution for making things more comfortable is this neat USB Cooler Mouse, a computer mouse that will literally cool you down while you use it!
It works via an internal fan, meaning that when you hold it in your hand you will feel the cool breeze making desktop chores so much better on a hot summer day. Use the red switch on the side to adjust the strength of the fan, from strong to medium to weak depending on the temperature. It also functions as an effective five-button mouse too and is powered by a USB connection.
