One of the most famous warriors in Japanese history and a revolutionary who helped modernize the nation, Ryoma Sakamoto now gets his own umbrella series! Following on from our hit Samurai Umbrella and Samurai Underwear products, this is a way to keep the rain off your back and learn about the past at the same time.
There are THREE superb designs to choose from, each in quality dark fabric and its own markings. Firstly, SHINSENGUMI is named after the notorious elite regiment of the Shogun and features the names of its leaders, along with their pledge of loyalty. Next, Ryoma's BLUE design has a silhouette of the iconic American kurobune ("black ships") that came and changed Japan forever, as well as Ryoma's own name in classic blue calligraphy.
Lastly, the RED version has a silhouette of Sakamoto himself, his famous sayings and an image of his family crest. All three models also feature a stylish handle designed to look like a samurai sword.
