The Paper Thread Yuragi is a collaboration between a traditional Kyoto washi (Japanese rice paper) dyer and a Tokyo lighting house. The artisan paper-thread scatters and diffuses a flickering LED lamp, adding a romantic, traditional atmosphere to any room. LED's do not heat up like conventional lighting, making them safe for use inside these paper creations. These lamps can be used with either AC power or standard batteries, freeing placement decisions from the location of your power outlets.
