This collaboration between Seiko Clock and Takara Tomy is guaranteed to bring fun and chic to your home. The Ocean Theater presents the drama and beauty of the sea in a gadget that is both practical and technologically sophisticated.
The Ocean Theater can be enjoyed in two ways: with the dome closed, creating stunning images from the deep on the face. Or, taking off the dome, it becomes a projector, showing this world on your wall at home.
There are also several modes in which to experience the Ocean Theater. "Closed mode" displays five different sea worlds and over 120 types of living creatures that dwell there. You will be delighted by the playful sounds of dolphins and the calming background noise of lapping waves. The changing events and diorama can be adjusted automatically, semi-automatically or manually. Further, the enjoyment is not just aesthetic - tap the top of the dome two times to interact with the swimming fish.
"Clock mode" provides you with a useful timepiece for your home, but one quite unlike anything you have seen before. The fish will form the digits of the time as they swim, as well as dates and other cute greetings. The clock even comes with a dolphin alarm.
The other modes available on the Ocean Theater include using it as a music player. Plug in your iPod or other device, and channel music through the underwater realm. More simply, the Ocean Theater has a 'light' setting, where you can give your room an ultramarine feel through its warm blue tones.
