Tamagotchi 4U
NFC tech interactive electronic pet by Bandai
Bandai's latest in the long-running Tamagotchi series is the Tamagotchi 4U, which has now replaced the previous infrared communication with NFC tech. It comes in four cute colors (pink, purple, white and blue) and can be used with various Touch Spots in Japan, as well as with other Tamagotchis or electronic devices to exchange digital Tamagotchi pet items.
The city is now your Tamagotchi playground! The hit of the 1990's has come fully into the post-digital age with the Tamagotchi 4U. You get ten characters to start with and then can download a further ten, plus there are extra "collaborative characters". The more you play and interact with the NFC points, the more clothes and items you can collect.
