The Picture Planter from Metaphys is a funky juxtaposition of nature and art. By planting seeds in the special gel base, owners can watch as the seeds grow in the frame. Place the frame against a window and the plants will add some interior greenery to the scenery outside.

Growing your mini-garden in this designer accessory is simple: Stir in water with the special powder to form a gel and then sprinkle in your seeds. It takes only four days for the vegetation to sprout and while the frame remains the same, the way the seeds grow will be unique to you every time. Winner of a Good Design Award in 2005.
